Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of StickyNotes.club.
By creating an account or using StickyNotes.club, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Service provider
StickyNotes.club is provided by:
Farid Bouchdak, trading as StickyNotes.club
Sole proprietorship
Dutch Chamber of Commerce number: 30221015
Muntelbolwerk 1 P
5213 SZ 's-Hertogenbosch
The Netherlands
Email: farid﹫stickynotes.club
In these Terms, “StickyNotes.club”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to this service provider.
3. The service
StickyNotes.club is an online service for creating and sharing sticky notes and for collecting, organising and developing ideas on private boards.
Depending on the features and plan available to you, the service may allow you to:
- publish sticky notes on the worldwide wall;
- create and manage private boards;
- upload photos;
- comment on, like and organise content;
- invite people to boards;
- share boards using access links;
- collaborate and vote on ideas;
- use additional paid features.
The exact features, limits and prices available at any time are shown on StickyNotes.club and during checkout.
We may improve, replace or discontinue individual features. We will not make material changes to a paid service without a valid reason and appropriate notice.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use StickyNotes.club.
By creating an account, you confirm that:
- you are at least 16 years old;
- the information you provide is accurate;
- you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
You may not create an account for someone else without their permission.
5. Your account
You need an account to use most parts of StickyNotes.club.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your account information accurate;
- choosing a strong and unique password;
- keeping your login details confidential;
- activity carried out through your account;
- notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not sell, transfer or share your account with another person.
We may require email verification or other reasonable security checks before providing access to certain features.
6. Free and paid plans
StickyNotes.club may offer a Free plan, recurring paid subscriptions and one-time paid upgrades.
The features, usage limits, price, currency, taxes, billing interval and other important payment information are displayed before you complete a purchase.
Prices shown at checkout are the prices that apply to your purchase. The total price, including applicable taxes and charges, will be shown before payment where required by law.
Paid features are linked to the account used for the purchase and may not be transferred unless we expressly agree otherwise.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Creem.
By making a purchase, you authorise Creem and its payment partners to process the payment using the payment method you provide.
We do not store your full payment card details.
You are responsible for providing correct billing information and for keeping your payment method valid.
If a payment fails, we may:
- ask you to update your payment details;
- retry the payment where permitted;
- suspend or limit paid features until payment is completed;
- end the paid subscription after reasonable notice.
Creem may apply its own terms and privacy policy to payment processing and its customer portal.
8. Recurring subscriptions
A recurring subscription renews automatically for the billing period shown during checkout until you cancel it.
You can cancel a subscription through the customer portal or another online cancellation option made available through your account.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise required by law:
- your paid features remain available until the end of the current paid billing period;
- cancellation does not normally result in a refund for the unused part of that billing period;
- your account and content remain available subject to the limits of the plan that applies after cancellation.
After a paid subscription ends, features or content exceeding the limits of the applicable plan may become restricted or read-only. Share links or other paid collaboration features may be disabled. Your content will not be deleted solely because a paid subscription ends.
9. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with a statutory withdrawal right, you may generally withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
For a service contract, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise this right, send a clear statement to farid﹫stickynotes.club before the withdrawal period expires. Include enough information to identify the purchase.
You may use the following wording, but you are not required to:
I hereby withdraw from my contract for [plan or upgrade], purchased on [date]. My name is [name] and the email address connected to my account is [email address].
If you expressly request that a paid service begins during the withdrawal period and later withdraw, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided, where permitted by law.
For digital content or a digital service supplied immediately, the checkout may ask for your express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period and for your acknowledgement of the legal consequences. Your statutory rights will apply according to the consent requested and the applicable law.
Any refund due following a valid withdrawal will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Nothing in these Terms limits a withdrawal, refund or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Price and plan changes
We may change the price or features of a plan for valid reasons, including:
- changes to operating or supplier costs;
- changes to taxes or legal requirements;
- improvements or material changes to the service;
- prevention of misuse;
- the introduction, replacement or retirement of plans.
A price change will not be applied retroactively to a completed billing period or one-time purchase.
For recurring subscriptions, we will give reasonable advance notice before a material price increase or materially disadvantageous plan change takes effect.
Where required by law, you may cancel before the change takes effect. If you cancel, the existing subscription will end at the end of the applicable paid period unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
11. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload, including sticky notes, board content, comments and photos.
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display your content only as needed to:
- provide and operate StickyNotes.club;
- display public content to other users;
- make private content available to authorised board participants;
- create and maintain backups;
- secure, moderate and improve the service;
- comply with legal obligations.
This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except where:
- temporary backup copies remain;
- another legal basis requires retention;
- third parties independently copied, shared, cached or indexed public content;
- the content is reasonably required to resolve a dispute or enforce these Terms.
You are responsible for your content and confirm that:
- you created it or have permission to use and share it;
- it does not infringe another person’s rights;
- sharing it through StickyNotes.club does not breach confidentiality or another obligation.
12. Public content
Public sticky notes may be visible to anyone and may be shared, indexed or cached by third parties.
Do not publish information that you want to keep confidential.
You can edit and delete your public sticky notes using the available controls. Removing content from StickyNotes.club may not immediately remove independent copies, search-engine results or caches controlled by third parties.
Interactions with public content must comply with these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
13. Private boards and sharing
Private boards are available to people who have been invited or who receive access through an active share link.
A board owner is responsible for:
- deciding who may access the board;
- assigning appropriate permissions;
- managing invitations and share links;
- removing access when it is no longer appropriate;
- ensuring that information on the board may lawfully be shared with its participants.
Anyone who receives a share link may be able to pass it to someone else. Treat share links as confidential where access should remain limited.
A person with posting permission may add content to a board. A person with viewing permission may view the content available through that link or invitation.
We cannot guarantee that someone with authorised access will not copy, download, photograph or otherwise retain content.
14. Acceptable use
You may use StickyNotes.club only for lawful purposes.
You must not use the service to:
- publish or distribute illegal content;
- threaten, harass, intimidate or exploit other people;
- publish content that unlawfully infringes privacy, copyright, trademark or other rights;
- distribute spam, scams, malware or deceptive content;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access;
- interfere with the operation or security of the service;
- evade limits, restrictions or access controls;
- use automated means to scrape, overload or abuse the service without permission;
- encourage or facilitate unlawful or seriously harmful conduct.
The Community Guidelines form part of these rules for public and collaborative use.
15. Moderation and content removal
We may investigate content, accounts or activity that may violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines or applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- remove or restrict content;
- disable a share link;
- limit specific features;
- issue a warning;
- temporarily suspend an account;
- permanently terminate an account;
- preserve or disclose information where legally required.
Where reasonably possible, we will consider the nature, seriousness, frequency and consequences of the violation before acting.
We may act immediately without prior notice where reasonably necessary to:
- prevent fraud or a security incident;
- stop illegal or seriously harmful conduct;
- protect users, third parties or the service;
- comply with a legal obligation or binding order.
15.1 Reporting content
You can report a public sticky note with the flag control next to it. You do not need an account to report; without one you give an email address so we can confirm the report and tell you the outcome. For a board, a board sticky note or a comment, email farid﹫stickynotes.club with the link, the reason and a short explanation. Copyright concerns use a separate route.
Every report receives a case reference. A person reads every report; we do not use automated moderation.
15.2 What you are told about a decision
If we restrict your content or your account following a report, we tell you:
- what we did and what it applies to;
- where the decision applies;
- how long it lasts;
- why, in plain language;
- the rule from these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or the legal ground;
- whether automated means were used, and they are not.
If you disagree, you can reply to that message within six months and we will look at the decision again, free of charge. You can also take the matter to a court, or to the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets in its role as Digital Services Coordinator.
The person who made the report is told the outcome of their report. They are not told your identity or the reasoning we sent to you.
15.3 How long we keep a case
We keep a report and the evidence for it for six months, or twelve months where the matter is serious or repeated, and longer where we are legally required to. Six months is also how long you have to ask us to look at a decision again: evidence that disappeared before that period ended would make an appeal impossible.
You may contact us if you believe a moderation decision was made in error.
16. Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or terminate access when:
- you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms;
- your use creates a security, legal or operational risk;
- payment for a paid service remains overdue;
- we are required to do so by law;
- continuing to provide the service is no longer reasonably possible.
For a less serious breach that can be corrected, we will normally provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it before permanently terminating the account.
We may also discontinue StickyNotes.club or a material part of it. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice and provide a reasonable opportunity to retrieve your content.
If we terminate a paid service without fault on your part, we will provide any refund required by applicable law.
17. Ending your account
You may stop using StickyNotes.club at any time.
You can permanently delete your account through your account settings.
Before deleting your account:
- cancel any active recurring subscription;
- save any content you wish to retain;
- consider how deletion may affect shared boards and their Participants.
Account deletion permanently removes your profile and content from the active service, subject to temporary backups, legal retention obligations and independent copies held by third parties.
Account deletion cannot be undone.
18. Intellectual property
StickyNotes.club, including its software, interface, branding, visual design and original website content, is owned by us or used under licence.
These Terms do not transfer our intellectual property rights to you.
You may not copy, modify, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the service except where:
- we have given written permission;
- the law expressly permits it;
- an applicable open-source licence permits it.
The rights in user content remain with the relevant users.
19. Availability, maintenance and backups
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that StickyNotes.club will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.
The service may be temporarily unavailable because of:
- maintenance or updates;
- technical failures;
- security incidents;
- internet or infrastructure problems;
- events outside our reasonable control.
We use reasonable backup and recovery measures, but backups are not a guarantee that every item can always be restored.
Keep your own copy of content that is especially important to you.
We may introduce reasonable usage and storage limits to protect the service and ensure fair use.
20. Digital service conformity
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights when a paid digital service does not conform to the agreement.
Where required by law, you may be entitled to:
- have the service brought into conformity;
- receive a proportionate price reduction;
- terminate the paid agreement;
- receive another remedy available under applicable consumer law.
These rights are separate from any voluntary support or refund policy and cannot be excluded by these Terms.
21. Disclaimer
StickyNotes.club is a general tool for sharing and organising ideas.
It is not professional, medical, legal, financial, emergency or project-management advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make using content on the service.
Content created by users does not necessarily reflect our views. We do not routinely verify user content for accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. This does not limit statutory consumer rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
22. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by:
- your breach of these Terms;
- inaccurate, unlawful or inappropriate user content;
- a person to whom you gave account, board or share-link access;
- events outside our reasonable control;
- business losses where you use the service primarily for commercial purposes, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for intent or deliberate recklessness and any mandatory consumer rights.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for valid reasons, including changes to:
- the service or its features;
- legal or regulatory requirements;
- security or misuse risks;
- our business model, plans or suppliers;
- wording that needs clarification or correction.
Minor or beneficial changes may take effect when published.
We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes that negatively affect your rights or paid service. The notice will explain the change and when it takes effect.
Where required by law, you may reject a materially disadvantageous change by cancelling the affected paid service before the change takes effect.
Changes do not retroactively alter completed purchases unless required by law or expressly agreed.
24. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data.
The Privacy Policy does not form a contractual limitation of your statutory privacy rights.
25. Complaints and contact
Questions, complaints and notices concerning these Terms can be sent to:
farid﹫stickynotes.club
Please include enough information for us to understand and respond to your concern.
We will try to resolve complaints directly and within a reasonable period.
26. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
If you are a consumer living in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection provided by the law of your country of residence.
Disputes may be submitted to a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Before starting court proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter informally.
27. General provisions
If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced as closely as legally possible to its original purpose.
Our failure to enforce a provision immediately does not mean that we waive the right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our permission. We may transfer the agreement as part of a business reorganisation, sale or transfer, provided that your rights are not materially reduced.
These Terms, together with the documents expressly referred to in them, form the agreement governing your use of StickyNotes.club.
